THE THRU-PROJECT IS GOING LIVE

Hey everyone, it's time, we are going live! Today, Monday, December 10th, 2012, we are launching our website and our IndieGoGo Fundraising Campaign. Joel Dallas, Bryan Anderson, Jarred Douglas and myself will be taking the next 3 months to prepare for our trip and network our campaign in hopes of raising the capital we need to execute our project.

The Appalachian Trail is a place of redefinition, exploration, discovery, discipline, play, and inspiration. It is our All-American pilgrimage; A journey that brings us back to a different reality rooted in the wild Appalachian Mountains.

The Appalachian Trail has changed my life and the lives of my colleagues. It's time for us give back to that wonderful place, and it all begins right here.

25% of every dime made from publication and gallery sales will be donated in perpetuity to the Appalachian Trail to promote conservancy and trail maintenance. We will be giving the proceeds directly to the hiking clubs and conservation organizations that keep the trail alive.

On this blog from now until we hit the trail, we will be updating our campaign status to keep everyone informed about our preparations. On top of that we will be uploading images from our previous trail excursions to get hyped, pumped, and stoked out of this world.

When we hit the trail this blog will stream updates on the journey. We will be using a GPS marker to map out  exactly where we are in real time and space. You will be able to follow our progress and marvel as we amass millions of steps in a Northerly direction.

My team and I want to thank everyone in advance for your love and support.
