Today marks the one year anniversary of the completion of The Thru Project's journey along the Appalachian Trial!
The past year has gone by fast. It's hard to believe a year has passed since the journey came to an end.
So much has happened over the past year, with even more on the horizon for The Thru Project.
In honor of the anniversary of completion, I am presenting our latest image "Katahdin from Nesuntabunt" (above). This image was taken from Nesuntabunt Mountain, exactly 16 miles from the summit of Mt.Katahdin as the crow flies. Enjoying this view was incredible, but also a double edge sword, as we still had 36.3 miles to go to complete the trail! Although Mt.Katahdin was right in front of us, we weren't able to rest quite yet.
Proceeded by Jarred Douglass and Joel Dallas a few days earlier, at 5:30 am on September 19th 2013 Nick Browne, Ryan Underwood, Jonathon Harvey, and myself reached the summit of Mt.Katahdin.
A lifelong dream complete!
Thank you all for the support and watching the project grow!
New images coming soon, with lots of happenings in the upcoming year.
